As a valued member of The Tennessee Credit Union, we care about your safety and security. We periodically review our products to update features to ensure the protection of our membership. We are pleased to announce that we have upgraded our TTCU Visa® Platinum Credit Card to our NEW Contactless Credit Card.

Contactless payments are easy. You simply tap your contactless card on the contactless-enabled checkout terminal to make a payment. The payments are fast and convenient to use in places where you need to pay on the go. Just like transactions made with a chip card, each contactless card transaction is accompanied by a one-time code that protects the payment information. So your contactless payments are also secure.

The Benefits of Our Contactless Card

• Security: It is just as secure as your chip card but with the ease of a tap for payment. Your new contactless card will still have chip technology.
• Speed: With your contactless card, you simply tap the card to a contactless-enabled card reader to pay without having to insert your card and waiting.

What You Need To Know

Where can I use my new card?

Anywhere that Visa® is accepted! Look for the Contactless Card symbol at registers to use the contactless feature of your card. If you visit a checkout register that does not have the contactless feature, you can still use your credit card by swiping or inserting your card into the chip reader. Your contactless card can still be used for online or over-the-phone purchases and will still have a card number, expiration date, and CVV.

With the contactless feature, will I still have to sign for my purchase?

It depends on the retailer and the amount of the purchase.

How can I prevent my contactless card from being accidentally charged?

While merchants initiate the purchase process, it is important to make sure only one contactless device is close to the reader during the time of purchase. When using your TTCU contactless credit card, please make sure to separate it from your other contactless cards.
